WhiSKHA Teens & Young Adults Holiday Program: Enriching Experiences for Every Participant

 The Y Inclusion Services proudly presents the WhiSKHA Teens & Young Adults program, a unique and inclusive holiday experience designed to provide young people with exciting activities, skill development, and social interaction in a safe and supportive environment. Tailored for individuals aged 13-24 who have additional support needs and hold an NDIS package, this program ensures that every participant has the opportunity to thrive and enjoy their holidays.

Overview of the Program

The WhiSKHA Teens program offers a diverse schedule of activities that can be adjusted to cater to the needs and interests of the teens attending each day. From arts and crafts to beach trips and cooking lessons, the program provides a rich variety of experiences aimed at fostering personal growth and social engagement.

The program operates from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a daily cost of $70 per child. Additional NDIS fees apply as per the service agreement, ensuring comprehensive support for all participants.

Eligibility and Requirements

To enroll in the WhiSKHA Teens program, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Aged between 13-24 years.
  • Hold an NDIS package or funding from another agency.
  • Have additional support needs.
  • Possess up-to-date medical support plans (if applicable).
  • Have experienced challenges accessing mainstream holiday programs.

Participants should bring appropriate clothing, sufficient changes of clothes, a sun-smart hat, and nut-free snacks and lunch. It's also recommended not to bring electronic devices to the program.

Qualified and Supportive Staff

Our dedicated and experienced staff support participants on a 1:3 basis, with additional support available for those with higher needs. This ensures a personalized and attentive approach to each child's unique requirements, creating a nurturing environment for all.

How to Book

Booking a spot in the WhiSKHA Teens program is simple:

  1. Complete and email the application form to holidayprogram@yinclusion.org.au.
  2. Confirm enrollment before the program starts.
  3. Make the payment to secure the booking.

The Inclusion Services Office is available for payment processing, located at Shop 7, 41-53 Miller Street, Epping 3076.
